The UK NPPL for microlight aircraft requires a minimum of 15 hours dual and 10 hours solo flying.
You also need to pass 5 multiple choice written exams and one flight test to complete your course.
Before you start your flight training course, plan for your money and time. The best way to complete your course is to be highly motivated and prepared for every flying lesson. In the UK we tend to lose about 25% of the dates booked due to inclement weather; but we tend to fly right through the year.
You could complete your course and pass the exams and the flight test in as little as three weeks, if you are lucky with the weather! Plan to complete your course in approximately 3 months or earlier.
Each of your lessons will actually last for about one and half hours to two hours depending upon the exercises.
